Our Practice

At Saskatoon Oral Surgery, we are the only dental practice in the city licensed to perform all levels of conscious intravenous sedation. We perform, on average, over 5000 intravenous sedation cases per year. Our advanced training also allows us to manage the medically compromised patient.

We pride ourselves on our excellent success record with dental implant reconstruction. As of the fall of 2024, we have placed nearly 20 000 dental implants.

Care and Commitment

From the front office to the operating room, our practice is made up of professionals who take your oral health very seriously. We use equipment designed with safety and efficiency in mind. Our sterilization area allows us to follow and uphold strict provincial sterilization guidelines. Your safety and comfort are our top priority. From a  waiting room with comfortable seating to picturesque canvases hanging on the walls as we bring our patients in for treatment, we are committed to creating and maintaining a safe, caring and comfortable environment for our patients.

Honesty and Affordability

We know that the cost of care can be confusing. We can provide you with an estimate of cost for your treatment. If you have dental insurance and wish to know your coverage in advance, we can provide you with a predetermination form including treatment codes, upon request.

Easy Access to Oral Surgery Care and Information

We know that your time is valuable. We contact all referrals in a timely manner and with our call centre, we have team members available to strictly be of service to our patients on the phones to reduce the wait time with booking appointments or pre and post-operative questions.

Comprehensive Oral Surgery Care in One Location

We are qualified to handle all aspects of your oral and maxillofacial care, you are always surrounded by people that you trust. If we must refer out, we promise to send you to carefully vetted colleagues who apply the same professional principles in their office that we do in ours.

Comfort

We respect and understand that many patients experience dental anxiety. We do everything we can to make sure that your experience is as enjoyable as possible. By communicating clearly what you can expect during your treatment, we are often able to alleviate some or most of your dental fear. We encourage you to wear comfortable clothing and footwear to your appointment to ensure you are going to be as comfortable as possible during and after your procedure. We can provide our patients with warmed blankets, relaxing music and of course various levels of sedation upon discussion with your oral and maxillofacial surgeon. This will ensure you are as comfortable as possible before, during and after your procedure.
